RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to lead a team of 50 plus with multiple departments / bases / businesses
- Scheduling
- Payroll, hiring, training and termination
- Performance Management & Plans
- Team building
- Facility management
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Change Management Leader
- Able to build a strong culture where engagement is key
- Build and maintain working relationships with suppliers
- Presenter at Vancouver Tourism Awards on behalf of Harbour Air
- Plan community events specific to the Vancouver and Comox Base
- Learn the various roles and assist the teams when required
QUALIFICATIONS/ ABILITIES:
- Superior customer service skills – willing to take service to a higher level
- Minimum 5 years leading a diverse team in a fast paced environment
- Experience in leading, motivating and coaching
- Proven ability to build and maintain culture
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
- High stress tolerance
- Team Player
- Strong Leadership skills is a must
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to solve complex problems with customers and staff
- Able to work varied schedules and be on call for emergencies
- Knowledge of Canadian Labour Code is an asset
- Experience in Airport Operations is an asset
