The Zone Deicing Coordinator is responsible for all the deicing operations within assigned deicing bays of the Central Deicing Facility.  Job Responsibilities  Responsible for the management of aircraft, vehicles and personnel in the bay, using established visual/voice communications procedures and making decisions regarding the procedures of the deicing operation Control of assigned vehicle resources in deicing bays Monitor all authorized resources within the confines of a deicing bay Promote of safe, efficient and professional communication lines between all parties Control of movement within the confines of a deicing bay Opening and closure of an assigned deicing bay Ensure the safe and efficient control of deicing bay operations Oversees that the quality of the deicing process with the confines of a deicing bay is followed Promote the efficient contamination removal and fluid application Performs related duties as assigned as per the job classification Qualifications and Competencies  High School Diploma or equivalent Possess a valid driver’s license Be able to pass security clearance (criminal background check) Valid RROC-Aeronautical Certificate, an asset. Obtain and maintain a CDF airport security ID and AVOP AVOP ‘D/A’ designation. Obtain and maintain a valid radio license (Industry Canada RROC).
