Pacific Coastal Airlines is currently looking for a permanent full time Analyst, Revenue Management. This position is based out of the South Terminal building at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond.
As a key member of the Commercial Services Department, the Analyst, Revenue Management is entrusted with the airline's brand and corporate reputation and is therefore expected to maintain the highest standards of professional and personal conduct and integrity at all times; maintain excellent relationships with clients and co-workers; and contribute to the overall success of the Commercial Services Department.
The Analyst, Revenue Management participates in development of revenue management enhancements and process improvements to optimize yield through pricing, capacity, or revenue management actions. The ideal candidate for this position must possess creativity, inventiveness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced/time sensitive environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the preparation and modification of core pricing structures
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing department to develop and implement network and market-specific fare strategies to stimulate demand
- Analyze market dynamics, price trending, and market opportunities
- Assist with strategic planning and product development including ancillary revenue opportunities
- Evaluate and identify future demand influences and/or changes to individual markets and provide recommendations/direction to adjust schedules and/or capacity accordingly
- Review and monitor company pricing position for each market and ensure that our pricing/products are positioned competitively
- Generate and update analysis and reports for senior management
- Actively endorse, support and attend key corporate events and initiatives such as company socials, corporate community functions, and various business development events, etc.
- Actively participate in Sales & Marketing and Business Development meetings
- Update fare structure in Amelia and ATPCO as required
- Manage all aspects of Weekly Deal program
- Understand and uphold Corporate Safety, Health and Operational Standards
- Understand, embrace and apply the Corporate Values
- Consistently adhere to prescribed labour practices as outlined by Labour Canada and Company Policies
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
- Experience in revenue management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience participating in and leading projects, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives
- Understanding of Airline Global Distribution Systems (GDSes)
- Experience working with AmeliaRes is an asset
- Knowledge of revenue optimization software particularly Aviator and Infare, is an asset
- Aviation/travel industry experience is preferred

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills (Web, Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Attention to detail is essential
- Ability to deal withconfidential information using discretion and judgment
- Ability to be proactive, self-driven, and to manage multiple priorities with competing timelines
