SunWing Travel - Flight Operations Publications Coordinator

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
The Flight Operations Publications Coordinator (13 month contract) will provide coordination and maintenance of all Flight Operations manuals, documents and processes. The Flight Operations Publications Coordinator will notify the department team of potential areas of improvement. This position will report to the Manager, Publications & Administration. 

RESPONSIBILITES:
Responsible to the Manager, Publications & Administration for;
• Authoring and monitoring of Flight Operations manuals and publications through close liaison with the Flight Operations Managers;
• Assisting with the quality control of technical content in documents and initiation of the subsequent distribution process;
• Monitoring and implementation of changes & revisions to Transport Canada approved documents and ensure the accuracy & quality of printed output prior to distribution;
• Overall management of Flight Operations publication distribution and document control;
• Development, documentation, analysis and improvement of departmental processes;
• Publication of department bulletins/memos/temporary revisions;
• Processing, distributing, and responding to Captain Reports;
• Assisting with journey log follow up with flight crew;
• Other duties as specified by the V.P. Flight Operations, Chief Pilot and/or Manager, Publications & Administration.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point)
• Technical Writing experience an asset
• Previous administrative experience required
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written

• Ability to work in a team environment
