Operations Coordinator Agent
Swissport International Ltd.  - Vancouver, BC
To maximize manpower utilization and ensure sufficient staffing per Employee Schedules. This includes mapping business processes, identifying manpower requirements and conducting manpower studies for different departments within the organization. 

Responsibilities 
  • Ensure sufficient staffing per Employee Schedules. 
  • Maintain employee attendance records. 
  • Produce daily performance reports according to reporting guidelines. 
  • Respond to telephone calls in/out,radios,SITA,fax and email messages. 
  • Ensure flight information board is kept up to date. 
  • Act as liaison between customer and Swissport to ensure all pertinent flight and load control information is passed on to relevant parties. 
  • Maintain/update Company and customer manuals and documentation 
  • Control employee palm in/out, payroll enquiries, dress attire, validity and possession of RAP/AVOP and equipment log 
  • Be aware of the local emergency plan. 
  • Maintain good relations with co-workers, customers and airport authorities. 
  • Maintain and observe confidentiality with respect to employee records. 
  • Provide information and service when required to the Administration Office. 
  • Be familiar with Worker’s Compensation rules pertaining to injury on the worksite, along with Swissport documentation requirements.

 Qualifications and Competencies 
  • Excellent analytical skills including the ability to multitask and complete numerous tasks within deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills in English: oral & written
  • Must possess strong organizational and multi tasking skills
  • MS excel and Outlook knowledge
  • Customer focus and quality awareness
  • Knowledge of Ramp operations is an asset.
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment where accuracy and good employee relations are required.
  • Able to work flexible hours (Weekends and Nights)
