WestJet is currently recruiting a Crew Planner
Description
- Develop monthly multi base pairings guided by the Pilot agreement and Transport Canada Regulations
- Develop Pilot Training specific pairings such as, but not limited to, LORT and WATRS
- Generate and distribute monthly reports by base
- Presentations to internal customers
- Work on teams and committees as needed
- Review and revise SOP as required
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of scheduling experience required, preferably with Flight Crew
· Possess excellent knowledge of Sabre products
· Possess intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications
· Minimum 2 years of airline experience is required, preferably in an operational environment
· Excellent planning, organization and time management skills
· Proven ability to problem solve, think critically and make timely decisions under constant and strict deadline pressures
· Must possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload
· Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills with the capability of establishing respect and credibility through actions
· Possess the ability to take a proactive approach to identify problems, issues and opportunities
· Able to work longer hours when necessary, including weekends, Stat holidays
· Must work well within a team environment
· Maintain professionalism while supporting a fun environment
