Summary:
The Regional Manager is responsible for executing the strategic and operational plan for his/her airport base through strong leadership. The position will focus on safety, developing our people, and delivering a consistent experience while aggressively managing costs within their control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have a complete understanding of all contract terms, charges, etc., and ensure we are maximizing our revenue for each carrier handled.
- Provide input and insight to the head office team on process changes and/or innovations you feel will improve our operational performance, profitability and our people.
- Oversee the safety of our people, equipment, and aircraft and to ensure the airline customer’s needs are continuously met to the highest standard.
- To increase profits while making sure Operations Managers work as a team and understand the company's mission
- Planning and implementation of new Base startups
- Ensuring each station remains within its budget.
- Training new staff if unable to complete locally
- Weekly base update to Director of Operations and HR
- Monthly phone / in person meeting with the airport authorities,
- Monthly phone / in person meeting with the airline Regional Managers,
General Duties:
The Regional Manager’s (RM) daily responsibilities, is the constant supervision of assigned stations including the oversight of scheduling, staffing, safety, and training. The RM remains in constant communication with the Director of Operations.Supervision, Staffing and Safety:
- Maintain an ongoing open relationship with Operations Manager through direct contact and interaction.
- Work in conjunction with the Health & Safety and Operations Manager for training requirements/re-certifications to ensure audit compliance with customer requirements and governing agencies.
