Premier Aviation is currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Auditor
Reporting to: Director of Quality Assurance
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Auditor reports directly to the Director Quality Assurance (DQA) His/ her responsibilities are those of exercising quality control of airworthiness matters in the maintenance function.
• Participate in the Quality Assurance Program, including accomplishing audits and on-going evaluation of program effectiveness.
• Audit and evaluation of Suppliers and Sub-Contracted Approved Maintenance Organizations or equivalent, performing maintenance on the customer’s aircraft and / or components;
• Responsible for the approval of the Vendors;
• Assist / interact with external auditors performing audits at PAW;
• Represent PAW and liaise with Customers;
• Promote Safety Management System & raise SMS’s whenever required;
• Promote Continuous Improvement activities & incentives;
• Work in collaboration with production, provide technical guidance and assistance (i.e.: Coaching and Training on aircraft document related issues);
• Ensure that all work is performed to PAW’s quality standards, policies & procedures and Regulatory requirements
• Monitor maintenance activities and ensure the Company Manuals are adhered to;
• Attend and participate in a variety of production meetings;
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance;
• Be available for emergency situations;
Requirements & Credentials
• A willingness to quickly learn CARs or relevant knowledge as applicable to aviation
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Speak and write English fluently;
• Excellent oral communications;
• MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); an asset
• Organized, autonomous and very motivated;
