Manager, Operations (Job Number: 23561 ) 

Description 
  • Manage day-to-day operation of assigned commercial, charter, and cargo airline accounts,
  • Provide service to existing transit and based customers, along with any potential new customers.
  • Bulk fuel ordering daily inventory monitoring of aviation fuels in storage tanks, and in some cases, quality control of above ground storage tanks and fuel trucks.
  • Manage the maintenance and repairs of all Ground Service Equipment and Building Maintenance, working with the departments to schedule work and control costs on repairs and supplies.

  • Serve as Safety Coordinator for assigned FBOs to ensure that all Federal, State and Local regulations are met on a continuous basis, ensuring that the FBO is a safe workplace for employees and customers.
  • Responsible for training of all new line service personnel.
  • Provide recurrent training to employees on a quarterly and annual basis including, but not limited to, Hazardous Communication according to OSHA regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze P & L, making adjustments in operations as necessary to maintain profitability and meet goals.
  • Provide support and resolve customers' issues.
  • Human Resources duties including, but not limited to, hiring, terminations, performance management and appraisal, employee relations, etc.
    Serve as Ground Security Coordinator.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management or equivalent preferred 
    5-7 years experience in FBO operation including maintenance of various types of aircraft, aircraft fueling and deicing
  • Experience in supervising others
  • Working knowledge of all applicable FAA, OSHA, local airport authority, environmental, manufacturers', airline specific, and safety regulations and requirements
  • Will use computer and standard office machines regularly
  • Must be able to read and comprehend FAA regulations, company policies and procedures, aircraft manufacturers' repair station manuals and updates
  • Must be able to safely and effectively operate required equipment
