 Responsible to the Director, Environmental Affairs for coordinate tasks within Environmental Affairs to:
  • Provide support to the Director, Environmental Affairs and the Environmental Affairs Team on progressing compliance and sustainability work initiatives.
  • Provide assistance, as required, to the Environment Team on Environmental Management System (EMS) processes, regulatory report preparation, data collection and correspondence internal and external.
  • Coordinate logistics for environmental sponsorships/engagement, such as tickets for fundraising, attendance at functions, etc.
  • Ensure the environmental SharePoint site and document library on Onedrive is organized and kept up to date
  • Support entire Environment team as required, including maintaining Portal environment website up to date and maintaining communication on Portal and other communication modes.
  • Responsible for coordinating stakeholders and branches for meetings, and training arrangements.
  • Manage and coordinate correspondence, report/data preparations and outgoing/incoming requests to the Environment Team, support coordination of consultants and auditors.
  • Manage vacation, attendance, invoice processing, schedules and personal files for entire team
  • Any additional duties, as may be required
Qualifications
 
  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Sound knowledge and proficiency of computer skills including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of SharePoint an asset
  • Proven organizational and prioritization skills, disciplined and self motivated
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and well developed inter-personal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must share interest and passion for environment and sustainability issues

Bilingual (English and French)
