Position Title: Marketing Coordinator and Flight School Scheduler

Job Summary
The priority of the Marketing Coordinator and Flight School Scheduler is the delivery of a high level of friendly, efficient service to the students and associates of BFC in a fast-paced aviation environment. This role will report to the Manager of Flight Training Administration. The job responsibilities will include marketing online, through aviation magazines as well as outside means. As a scheduler, one would be required to assist students in reserving aircraft reservations particularly when they are unable to do so on their own, help set up new students with instructors, assist students with their advanced training scheduling and assist with flight test bookings such as securing a pilot examiner. Scheduling would also include scheduling of the Flight College Ground School schedule. This is an excellent entry-level customer service and administrative role if you are seeking to grow your career in education and the exciting aviation industry. Start date for this position is flexible however we are looking for someone immediately. Hours are full-time Tuesday to Saturday. Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education is an asset
  • Aviation experience is an asset, but not a requirement
  • A team player with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence in the delivery of services
  • Innovative and out of the box thinker
  • Possess excellent communication skills, organizational and time management skills
  • Professional etiquette

Job Responsibilities
  • Main point of contact for marketing and promotion
  • Make flight reservations for College students and those in the self paced program that require extra assistance
  • Main point of contact for Private Career College
  • Assist with sales and advertising
  • Assist Manager of Flight Training Administration with administrative duties
  • Main point of contact for scheduling issues
  • Oversee Renter Files
  • Set a professional standard. A BFC uniform is required.
