Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Concessions, the Concessions Coordinator is accountable for coordinating the day to day activities associated with the concessions program, including acting as a liaison between the tenants and EIA. This position acts as operational lead and ensures early resolution of all tenant issues, ensuring the appropriate positioning and success of the concessions program.
POSITION SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide input to the Commercial Development plans and directions, and ensure on-going appropriate relationships with other positions.
- Administer the concessions audit program, ensuring accurate and timely information is captured and reported, and database of auditing results is maintained.
- Conduct research and establish key industry contacts in an effort to understand current concessions trends, revenue stimulation and customer desires.
- Act as a liaison between tenants and the Concessions Department in the day to day operations.
- Ensure the successful coordination and facilitation of meetings as required, including appropriate coordination of resources (facility, speaker, etc.), agenda and minute preparation.
- Coordinate special events for the Concessions program, including gathering information and determining requirements, facilitation of events where required.
- Assisting with the execution of the development plan strategy as it relates to revenue generation under the direction of the Manager, Concessions.
- Assisting with advertisement aspects which align with the goals of EIA, including updating list of advertisers (installs & approvals) and other areas as set out by the Manager.
Qualifications
- University diploma or certificate in business administration, property management, or related subject; combination of experience and education will be considered
- Experience with Management and administration of legal agreements
- Experience with Financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Proven ability to create stakeholder relations
- Entry level knowledge of Canadian Airport business systems would be considered an asset
- Must secure and maintain appropriate airport security clearance and acceptable criminal records check

REPORTS TO: Manager, Concessions
BAND: 7 (Included in the General Bargaining Unit)
SALARY: $39.13 – $43.40 per hour (37.5 hours per week)
POSTING DATE: March 20, 2018 (Internal/External)
CLOSING DATE: March 30, 2018 or until a suitable candidate is found.
