Senior Program Analyst, PGT - YVR

The Vancouver Airport Authority has an opening for a permanent, full-time Senior Program Analyst, PGT in the Business Development department. Reporting to the Manager, Parking and Ground Transportation, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing direction on Parking and Ground Transportation programs, contract management and operational process development, documentation, analysis and improvement. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing PGT Program oversight including: developing, documenting, reviewing and updating program operational plans; facilitating decision-making on program development and changes; analyzing operational data to make informed decisions
  • Managing PGT service contracts by providing day-to-day operational oversight and direction to various service providers, as well as measuring and reporting on key performance indicators within service contracts
  • Developing, managing and communicating PGT operational processes
  • Providing project management expertise and leadership
  • Additional duties as the operation dictates

Key qualifications include:

  • Five years’ related experience in an operational/process environment, supplemented by a bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience in managing operational, process and/or complex business environments
  • Proven ability to work and make decisions in a complex operational environment with minimal supervision
  • Experience using sound business principles and data analytics to evaluate and support decision making
  • Demonstrated experience measuring performance of operational and process flows
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and review operational and process flows, demand, constraints and partner requirements
  • Ability to diplomatically lead meetings with stakeholders that may have differing opinions
  • Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to produce high quality results with minimal supervision and direction
  • Experience working with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Experience using technology solutions to support operational and business requirements
  • Experience working in parking and transportation industries an asset
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite
