Historically, the CHC Safety & Quality Summit has gathered some of the greatest minds in aviation safety to explore the human side of aviation safety and explore how to reduce risks. This year's Summit will continue to build on the past and continue to attract delegates from around the world who share commitment to safety.
As in years past, current BCIT Aviation's Operations students will gain valuable work experience by volunteering at the Summit in a variety of roles. At the same time, they will gain exposure to the most up-to-date information and the greatest minds in aviation safety.
This year, in honour of Dr. Peter Gardiner, CHC is offering a student grant to cover attendance at the Safety & Quality Summit. The "Dr. Peter Gardiner Aviation Student Grant" (click on the link, and look for the Word document) competition is open to all current local aviation students and will cover the full registration cost of the Summit. The deadline for application is March 7, 2010.
