Sky Plan Services is currently recruiting a Flight Dispatcher for the Calgary office.

Job Description:
Skyplan is looking for Flight Dispatchers who excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. We are a flight services company, specializing in airline and corporate aviation. We need hard-working, enthusiastic people who enjoy a challenge to make up the foundation of our company.

Job Responsibilities:
- Preflight preparation and Flight Watch
- Develop, review, authorize, issue and revise operational flight plans for all flights as required
- Communicate with Air Traffic Control Services
- Level 1 technical support for our web based flight planning product

Candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Transport Canada Generic Flight Dispatch Regulations and Meteorology Exams
- Air Operator Radio License
- Must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant
- Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent
- Able to work shifts (24/7/365)

Preferred candidates will have the following assets:
- FAA Dispatch license
- Flight Service Specialist or ATC experience
- Experience in a Flight Operations Department
- Customer Service experience
- An understanding of aircraft and aviation related data
- Working knowledge of world geography.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Demonstrated success in multi tasking during high stress situations with minimal supervision
- Computer literate
