This dynamic sales professional achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within their assigned territory by effectively selling Charter airline services. They personally contact and secure existing and new business accounts/customers. They are results oriented and can work independently and as part of a coordinated sales team.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
• Reports directly to the Vice President, Marketing and Sales

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participates in trade shows and conventions;
• Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints;
• Identifies competitive advantages and compares organizations’ products/services;
• Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers;
• Coordinates sales effort with marketing and sales management, accounting, and operational areas of the company;
• Analyzes the territory/markets’ potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers to the organization;
• Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective clients in their assigned territory to generate business for the company’s products and services;
• Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential;
• Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers;
• Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, market conditions, and potential for new products and services;
• Keeps abreast of company products and services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and operational areas of the company; and
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information seen or heard.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Proficiency in market analysis;
  • Proven aptitude for sales and customer service;
  • Knowledge of commercial aviation is an asset but not required;
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Possess a high degree of professionalism;
• Solid oral and written communication skills;
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
• Well-developed interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills; and
• Experience working in a stressful fast paced environment with competing priorities.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Travel required.
