The Position
Located in the heart of England, our long-term Airport Client manages a portfolio of Aviation Services within their diverse Business Group.
Their new, proactive, Sales Manager for Airport Services will build business opportunities with Brokers and end-user organisations who operate cargo/freight operations and attract regional and holiday/charter airlines to the airport. You’ll also develop use of the Executive Jet Centre - together with complimentary services such as aircraft handling, fuelling, provisioning, etc, to VIP and Business Aviation users - and promote the whole airport including hangars, landing, operational base facilities and parking charge management, etc, to general aviation users of light aircraft, helicopters and other visitors and users.
The Company prefer to recruit from within commuting distance of their Office in Central England and there are no current plans to offer relocation assistance, but if you're willing to make the move yourself and this is the job for you, don't hesitate to apply.

The Airport seeks someone who has a dynamic approach and well established Airport Services Sales experience. Your broad-brush, long-term and proactive successes across the whole Aviation Sales spectrum will be well suited to this exciting and dynamic role.
You are NOT a 9 to 5 Sales Manager; for you, the deal is just one step away and you'll keep moving forward (appropriately) until you secure it – and then you'll take 5 minutes to enjoy the moment, before planning how you'll bring your next Potential Client in.
You know that existing Clients need to be cared for, so ongoing Sales can be secured and you'll identify then professionally approach brand new Prospects.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Proven Airport Service Sales experience – our Client will be looking for proof of your Customer portfolio and successes with them (taking the recession into account, of course)
- A proactive Sales approach combined with excellent Account Development and Account Management skills
- Good exposure to modern marketing techniques; social media included
- Well developed interpersonal skills; you should be ready to interact openly and effectively with all Cultures and Nationalities
- A full UK/EU driving license
Minimum Terms Offered

Selection/Interview Process
