BCAC Photo Contest!

Whether you have photo albums and shoeboxes full of aviation pictures, or you have a spanking new digital camera, you will be able to help celebrate 75 years of aviation in British Columbia through the BCAC Photo Contest!


The contest takes place through a Facebook page, but don’t worry; you don’t need a Facebook account to enter your photos. Simply click on the link http://www.facebook.com/BCAC1938 and follow the instructions to upload pictures that represent the past 75 years of aviation in British Columbia. While you are browsing the visual history of aviation in BC, take time to “like” your favorite photos and stories – and you will help to determine the People’s Choice Award, which will be decided in early August and recognized at the Silver Wings Award banquet this October!

Thank you to Peter Noort, Dave Pixley and Candance McKibbon (Airport Operations Class 17 students), who are largely responsible for developing the contest in Facebook on behalf of BCAC. Whether a photographer, voter, browser or simply a history buff – this contest will be lots of fun!
