Perimeter Aviation is currently recruiting a Corporate Training Coordinator for Winnipeg.   This position is responsible and accountable for working with all department managers to build curriculums for each type of employee: Ramp agent, AME Apprentice, License AME, Pilots and Customer Service detailing all the required courses from aviation specific to Occupational Safety and Health and Aviation Occupational Safety and Health, company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Create and maintain a training record database for all company departments.
  • Maintain current training record software (Aerostudies), and research alternative software platforms that will improve the development, delivery and tracking of all company training initiatives.
  • Issue regular employee training status reports to department managers, to ensure that training records are maintained and up-to-date.
  • Upload training materials provided my managers and trainers into special training software.
  • Act as liaison between Perimeter and the training software company to fix any software issues that may arise.
  • Train managers and employees on how to use the training software program.
  • Work with Human Resources and Department Managers to determine new employee training requirements, and establish standard training requirements for common positions within the company.

    Education and experience
  • Minimum Grade 12 education required
  • Knowledge of training coordination software considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Aviation / Airline products and services considered and asset
  • Knowledge of Perimeter Aviation philosophies, policies and procedures considered an asset
    • Ø Professional, responsive, with a positive work attitude, superior interpersonal skills; and a high level of commitment on-time performance is essential
    • Strong knowledge of general office policy / procedures involving travel arrangements, budget management and r reports
    • Superior verbal and written skills to communicate with all levels of the organization with superior typing with the ability to ensure proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting of moderately complex correspondence
    • Proficient, hands-on experience with productivity applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point required
    • Resourcefulness and flexibility
    • Experience in handling confidential or sensitive information
    • Ability to think critically and act logically to evaluate situations and provide sound judgment
    • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, as well as inventory control of these items
    • Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases
    • Ability to qualify for Winnipeg Airport Authority Ramp Pass (WAA)
