- Previous aviation experience
- Geographical knowledge of the B.C.'s West Coast
- Must have transportation to and from work
Applicant qualifications include:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to work effectively with others and individually
- Must have the ability to work under pressure with a high degree of organization
- Must be fluent in English, including reading, writing and speaking
- A strong working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
- Must be able to work full time, including weekends
Applicant responsibilities include:
- Answering phone calls and booking flight reservations as well as responding to email inquiries
- Greet and check in passengers, baggage handling, issuing boarding passes
- Cash and credit card transactions and completing daily cash reports
- Calculating weight and balance for aircraft and dispatching of flights
- Handling customer inquiries, scheduling and filing
- Overseeing day to day dispatch of flights
- Conduct radio communication effectively with the pilots and aircraft
- Short and long term scheduling and planning of flights and pilots
