The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires is seeking the right person as the Parkade Supervisor at the Calgary International Airport. The ideal candidate MUST have extensive and detailed experience in large parkade operations, employee supervision and customer service.


General Responsibilities
- Operation of the Airport Parkade Office and exit booths.
- Opening and closing of the public parking lots and advising the general public of such actions.
- Daily accounting of revenue generated by the parkade operations.
- Preparation of cash deposits and receipts of funds for the parkade operations to/from the Airport Authority’s bank of choice.
- Reporting all parkade operations to the Calgary Airport Authority Parking Manager and the Corps Ground Transportation Supervisor.
Specific Task Responsibilities
- Responsible for the supervision/training of the Parkade Staff and facility management.
- Coordinate shift scheduling with the Corps Administration to ensure adequate staffing.
- Maintains an adequate supply of forms, stationary and equipment required for day to day requirements.
- Approves daily sign in/out sheets for pay purposes and prepares Parkade Time Sheets for submission.
- Monitors available parking spaces and advises the GT staff of the need to open and/or close public parking areas.
- Manages the access road signage pertaining to the opening and closing and public parking areas.
- Make change as required and distribute to Cashiers from the main float.
- Responsible for the cash in the vault and on the shelf.
- Responsible for staff welfare and discipline.
- Schedule and relieve (If required) cashiers for lunch and coffee breaks.
- Performs testing and minor servicing of Parkade equipment.
- Prepares Cashier shift reports and financial reports.
- Assists the inventory staff in recording the Parkade inventory and distribution.
- Responsible to conduct daily inspections of all Parkade equipment and reporting any faulty items for maintenance.
- Ability to manage the conflict within staff and/or with public (if any) and try to resolve
- Works well in a fast paced environment.
- Extensive cash handling background.
- Intermediate computer knowledge necessary, Microsoft office Suite.
- Must have own transportation, parking is provided.
- Any other duties as designated by CAA or the CCOC GT Supervisor.
