- Valid driver’s licence and the ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card

Reporting to the Manager, Operations, the successful candidate will be required to be a hands on supervisor to the airfield, mobile equipment, maintenance and emergency response services department at the London International Airport. The position requires long range planning, scheduling and the establishment of priorities and other costs control criteria as they affect continuing operation of the airside operations department. It requires the coordination of the work and staff to meet ongoing operational priorities and schedules. It also requires reviewing work progress with subordinates, implementing and modifying staff training and resolving personnel issues.
This is a salaried position with an annual salary of $70,000. Hours of work will be based on a 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday with shift coverage as the operational requirements dictate.
Qualifications
· Knowledge and/or experience of airfield operations including snow removal, pavement and grounds maintenance as well as emergency response services an asset
· Experience in project management, human resources management, training development and delivery, safety evaluations and financial management
· Enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, organized and a team player
