North Cariboo Air is currently recruiting an SMS Program Analyst for a 6-month contract position. 

Job Purpose
This position is responsible for administering the documents of process, both electronic and hard copy of the North Cariboo Air Safety Management System.

Role and Responsibilities
- Actively participate and support the NCFS SMS.
- Action electronic notices received from managers that a report has been investigated and is recommended for the SMS Committee to review and close.
- Maintain the electronic status of SMS reports by changing the progress status of the electronic reports to reflect their status in the SMS electronic reporting system (ie., In Progress, Ready for SMS Committee to Review, Closed).
- Minute taking for SMS meetings and Regulatory Review meeting
- Maintain the paper copy archive of all SMS required documents.
- Maintain the SMS Master Training record.
- Maintain the SMS Master Audit record.
- Maintain the electronic archive of SMS training certificates located in the NCFS computer system drive in appropriate file location.
- Update as required all SMS documents.
- Maintain the ERM document, training, and associated record keeping.
- Distribute a call for agenda items to the SMS Committee members 1 week prior to scheduled meetings.
- Distribute the agenda prior to a scheduled SMS Committee meeting and Regulatory Review meeting.
- Maintain all identified SMS calendar items on behalf of the SMS Committee and include upcoming calendar items in each meeting agenda as required.
- Actively supports the company Safety Management System by participating in the program.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Post-secondary education and training in Safety Management Systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi task and communicate effectively with all functional divisions within the company.
- Ability to hold a Transport Canada airside security pass.
- Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Adobe and Excel

Salary: As per North Cariboo Air Pay Scale
