In addition to solid academic work, Candace was a dedicated student who threw herself whole-heartedly into the aviation industry and took advantage of every opportunity to succeed. Candace volunteered with Maximum Altitude (the aviation student-led organization that supports the passion for aviation that all students at the Aerospace Campus share), the BC Aviation Council, the CHC Safety Summit, and the Aviation Leadership Forum to name just a few. Her accomplishments and on-going community involvement set a great example!
