Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline with 86m customers per annum, a fleet of 300 aircraft and an order to purchase a further 180 Boeing aircraft over the next five years, is recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Executive to join its Greece team. The Sales and Marketing Executive will be located at our offices at Airside Business Park, Swords.
Duties include:
Increase passenger volumes and drive sales across routes.
Deliver national and regional promotions.
Deliver big brand partnerships.
Deliver topical advertisements
Identify worthwhile sponsorship opportunities.
Ensure that key Ryanair messages are reported clearly in co-operation with the Head of Sales & Marketing and the Head of Communications.
Assist the Manager in completing daily administration actions.
Assist in delivering a programme of Sales, Marketing and PR activities for new routes and bases.
Manage administration and the Marketing Departments at our Airports.
Co-ordinate weekly press conferences highlighting the importance of Ryanair (extensive travelling involved).
Market intelligence; to ensure the team are up to date on all relevant market issues.
Manage the administration of our plans with tourist boards and relevant Government departments.
Experience and Qualifications:
Commercial focus.
Sales drive with proven track record of success.
Strong knowledge of the political and economic situation in the region.
Fluent verbal and written English and Greek are essential.
Close attention to detail and an ability to work to tight deadlines.
Confident and upbeat personality.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to multi-task and an ability to work on own initiative.
Experience in dealing with the Media.
