Job Skills / Requirements
Coach, mentor and support teams and staff.
Liaise with our client, client partners and service providers to enforce security protocols and procedures.
Supervise and oversee all security incidents with client operations.
Responding to emergency incidents according to the emergency plan.
Work in conjunction with, but not limited to RCMP, CATSA, CBSA, GVTAPS and other federal and provincial agencies.
Various other duties as required.
Qualifications
5 to 7 years of successful management or leadership experience.
3 to 5 years experience managing teams greater than 10 people, preferably in a unionized environment.
Multi-tasking and ability to handle stress.
Strong communication skills verbal and written.
Excellent computer skills with an understanding of a variety of programs (I.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and other work related software).
Ability to type quickly and accurately (up to 40 wpm).
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Demonstrate a high level of performance, commitment and motivation.
Ability to walk and stand for extensive periods of time
Please note that all applicants MUST have / obtain a valid RAIC pass and may be asked to complete an assessment prior to being selected for employment. All successful candidates must also be able to complete the Aviation Security Course as well as pass the exam before a placement can be made.
