POSITION: Airline Library Contract/CO-OP Student (Seasonal Position)
REPORTING TO: Senior Librarian
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance & Engineering, Quality Assurance
LOCATION: Toronto, ON

The Airline Library Contract/CO-OP Student is responsible to the Senior Librarian, to assist in maintaining all Flight Operations Publications. This position is open to students and new graduates as well. 


Responsibilities:
• Regularly updating all Flight Operations publications
• Assist in maintaining crew room, OCC, ERDL publications and documents
• Assist the Flight Operations Librarian to maintain all Flight Operations publications and other department documents as assigned
• Building transmittal forms for publications required by outstations and manual holder (if there is a computer available)
• Tracking transmittals issued to bases and manual holders
• Providing back-up support within the airline library 
• Filing and general office work
• Shipping (distribution and tracking) and mail pick-up
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Working towards a College diploma or higher, related to aviation or equivalent experience
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Previous library / administrative experience in a similar role are preferred 
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Ability to lift heavy (15-30lbs) boxes/containers containing publications
• Ability to concentrate and retain attention for long hours while updating Jeppesen data
