Parking Manager

We are currently seeking a Parking Manager (evenings/overnight and weekends) to join our team at the Edmonton International Airport . In this role you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for managing the operations and the delivery of efficient and timely customer service to all customers using the valet or shuttle services on site. This will be accomplished by working with the front line employees, effective communication and leadership by example. Responsibilities:  Monitor the resolution of customer issues inclusive of refund practices Post employee schedules to ensure peaks and lows are staffed accordingly Coaching, Mentoring, and Staff Management Enforcing Policies and Procedures Ensure that we provide the BEST in customer service standards Attend and/or conduct training sessions for employees as required Communicate with the Operations Manager with detailed needs for shuttle repairs, Health and Safety issues, and customer complaints You’ll be a great fit as a Parking Manager if you have: A minimum of 2 years’ experience directly with retail, hospitality, or service industry Ability to work evenings/overnight shifts and weekends Experience with managing organizational change; understand the process and provide guides and direction to this process to all front line staff Strong customer service mindset Are enthusiastic about ongoing learning, coaching, and training Are able to resolve conflict and solve problems within tight deadlines Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills Can ensure the loyalty and satisfaction of our parking customers Ability to communicate in user-friendly language Team work skills and ability to work under pressure Are able to respond on call. The location operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year, full availability is a definite requirement A Clean Security Clearance/Criminal Background Record A Class 5 Drivers License required, however, class 1 or 4 with air endorsement would be considered an asset A reliable vehicle A clean Driver’s Abstract with no more than 3 demerits Are physically fit and can lift up to 50lbs If you describe yourself as an enthusiastic team player possessing a high level of integrity and a desire to make a significant contribution, we invite you to apply for this opportunity.
