New Posting - Calm Air

Calm Air is currently recruiting a full-time FLIGHT OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR for the Winnipeg Base. 


This position is ideal for a pilot or a candidate with extensive aviation/ airline experience that posses post secondary education in aviation or computer science. 



Duties: 
• Administrative Support to the Flight Operations Department
• Distribution and Tracking Flight Operations Documents
• Maintenance of Flight Operations Training Files
• Assisting Flight Operations personnel in developing and documenting policies and procedures
• Organizing, documenting and taking minutes at Flight Operations meetings
• Maintenance and regular update of Flight Operations publications with the ability to build a matrix to track changes and ensure updates are completed in a timely fashion
• Assisting with the formatting and editing of memos, bulletins, manual amendments and distribution
• Coordination with aircraft chart providers, aircraft performance, third party document services and subscription services.
• Maintenance of the Flight Operations library database and library classification system including the library master manual list
• Updating and maintenance of all technical and operational manuals in the Flight Operations Department and Aircraft Onboard libraries in each aircraft, as required

Hours of work
• Full Time – Monday to Friday
• Occasional overtime may be required
• Occasional Travel to other Bases Required

Qualifications and education
• Well organized, detail oriented, with the flexibility to meet tight timelines and deadlines
• Bachelor of computer science or combination of education with aviation or airline experience will be considered an asset 
• Team Player that is comfortable and knowledgeable enough to work independently
• Exceptional Computer Skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe and SharePoint
• Must be able to acquire a Winnipeg Restricted Area Pass (enhanced security clearance) 
• Proven ability to maintain document control
