Pacific Coastal Airlines is currently recruiting an Employee Services Coordinator

Status:                                    Permanent full time
Location:                                Vancouver, B.C.
Rate of Pay:                          To be determined
Hours of Work:                     Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm


As the first point of contact in Employee Services and the President’s Office, Pacific Coastal Airlines is looking for an employee who embodies the Pacific Coastal motto of “People Friendly, People First”.  


This employee will be expected to behave in a manner that respects corporate values, professionalism, diversity and provides service excellence to both internal and external customers.  This role requires a person that has the ability to work in an ever changing environment where multitasking and flexibility are key attributes.

The successful applicant will administer the internal travel pass program while providing clerical support to the Director.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to, reception duties, answering phones, filing, organize meetings, maintaining office supplies and equipment, job offer letters, job postings, announcements and distribution of incoming, and outgoing mail, and oversight of employee uniforms.  In addition ensuring employee recognition programs such as anniversary cards, pins and points programs are organized.

The Employee Services Coordinator will assist in the recruitment process by tracking internal and external job applications, setting up interviews, coordinating the new employee orientation process and ensuring RAIC and parking pass documents have been accurately completed and submitted to appropriate authorities.  The coordination of events, activities and vendors in support of the community and employee engagement programs are another duty conducted by this role.  

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated person who has a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and can work as a part of a team.   This employee must possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills coupled with an eye for detail and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. 
Pacific Coastal Airlines employees working in the Employee Services department must be advanced in a multitude of Microsoft Office Products, email and web applications in addition to applicant tracking systems.

Previous experience or studies in the Human Resources field will be an asset.  2-3 years customer service experience is required.
