North Cariboo Air is currently recruiting a Passenger Screening Agent in Calgary

Implements security-screening procedures that will serve to protect the passengers and flight crew by preventing any deadly or dangerous objects from being transported onto an aircraft. Assists in conducting screening of passengers, baggage and cargo. Assists in monitoring the flow of passengers through the screening checkpoint to facilitate the orderly and efficient processing of passengers. Maintains close communication with supervisors regarding any issues that might reveal a weakness or vulnerable area of security screening that is discovered in the course of screening duties. Participates in information briefings concerning security-sensitive or classified information.


Role and Responsibilities
• Check-in passengers through IBS-Global Logistic Management System .
• Book and add passengers on the flights in the IBS-Global Logistic Management system
• Coordinating with passengers/clients for travel updates regarding delays or IROPS and other relevant information about the charter
• Coordinating with passengers/clients for no-shows and go-shows passengers to get approval for the flight
• Updating company manifest with passengers information for no-shows and go-shows
• Boarding the passengers and flight on a timely manner
• Completing security checks for the passengers and taking charge in handling issues that need attention
• Complete duties to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
• Stocking the commissary room, as directed.
• Dealing with missing baggage of passengers and ensuring that the bag reaches the owner
• Ensure passenger safety out on the ramp while in winter ops by using words of caution while making the announcements and while walking the passengers to the aircraft
• Actively supports the company Safety Management System by participating in the program and acting appropriately for their role as defined within the SMS Manual. 
• Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Grade 12 education. 
• Ability to hold a Transport Canada Restricted Area Pass.

Preferred Skills
• Should be motivated by providing executive level customer service.
• Ability to maintain good working relationship with customers, employees, and department staff.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to
• others and exchange information
• This position requires professionalism in dress and demeanor as well as an orientation towards customer service.
• Clear speaking voice in the English language.
• Flexible in work habits and work schedule; shift work may apply with start times between 5:30am and 10:00am
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
