Location: Montreal, QC 
Schedule: Full-time 

We are looking for someone who is experienced in the following:
  • Responsible for conducting classroom instruction in aircraft systems. 
  • Responsible for flight simulation instruction including flight procedures & techniques. 
  • Conducts pre-flight & post flight briefings. 
  • When designated, assist with courseware development in the training program to keep courses up to date, accurate & responsive to the client’s needs & desires. 
  • Provides Instruction in B737NG systems & procedures, and CRM in accordance with approved syllabus and regulatory requirements. 
  • Maintains currency & proficiency as an instructor in classroom, procedures trainer and full motion simulator, as defined by company directives, customer requirements and applicable regulatory authorities. 
  • Properly document training records, instructor records and training device logbooks as required by company directives, customer requirements and applicable regulatory authorities. 
  • Complete administrative assignments related to courseware and flight training program as assignments as assigned by CAE training program management.

Job Qualification 

The candidate must have the following background and experience :
  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) along with a minimum of 1 (one) year experience as aviation instructor (asset). 
  • 3000 hours of total flight time. 
  • Have above average presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, in both verbal and written format. 
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate – Transport Canada with B73C type rating. 
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada, Canadian citizenship or Canadian work permit. 
  • Valid Canadian passport or a Canadian permanent resident card and individual visas necessary. 
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required. 
  • Ability & willingness to work varied hours including morning, evenings, & weekends and holidays. 
  • Computer Skills – ability to use windows based computers and Microsoft office suite.
  • Ability to obtain TSA clearance for training in the United States, if required.
