The
Kelowna International Airport (YLW) continues to grow, serving over 1.6
Million passengers annually!
An Airport Mechanic plans and executes repairs, troubleshoots,
and performs maintenance of various mechanical, hydraulic and electrical
parts and systems of the Airport fleet and support equipment.
The Airport’s fleet consists of light/heavy
duty trucks, industrial equipment, and firefighting apparatus.
Shifts may be varied including evening, weekend
and statutory holiday work. Airport
Mechanics may also be required to operate snow removal equipment in support
of the airside snow removal team.
Qualifications:
·
Trade Tickets: Heavy Duty Mechanic and either
Automotive or Commercial Mechanic
·
Emergency Vehicle Technician Certificate
·
Experience

Physical ability

·
Computer literacy
·
BC Driver’s License – Class 3 with Air Ticket
·
Transport Canada Security Clearance
·
Ability to travel to United States
This is a CUPE bargaining unit position and
offers a wage of $33.14 per hour. We
