New Posting - Canadian Flight Centre

Canadian Flight Centre is an aggressively growing company, providing flight training, charter services and aircraft maintenance.
Every member of our small team is committed to do “whatever it takes” to tackle the many challenges that come with growth. We are looking for people that share our vision and want to grow with the company, people that are looking for a long term career rather than a job, people that go home when the job is done, not when the clock turns five.

The key highlights of the position are:

- Dispatcher (main role) – the person in the centre of all activities – answering the phone interacting with students, dispatching aircraft for training flights, invoicing and taking payments are just some of the many facets of the job.
Among the essential skills are “being a people person” – communicating and interacting effectively with people – students, customers, instructors and be friendly and assertive at the same time. A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office is a must, Simply Accounting would be a benefit.

- Administrative assistant (appx. 4h/week)– managing the funds of international students is just one of the responsibilities, looking after the day –to-day financial transactions, reconciliations, assisting the CFO with preparing the tools for planning, budgeting and other financial decisions is the other part
Microsoft Office and Simply Accounting are ”must have” skills (training can be provided)

- Student Coordinator (appx. 6-10 hours/week ) – the go-to person for our students and international inquiries. Every day we receive multiple email or facebook inquires that need timely responses - the student coordinator will take students from the initial call to becoming active students, help with the enrollment and visa process and the preparations for the student’s arrival. This person also assists instructors with filling the training slots by coordinating the students’ activities.
This job requires strong people skills and experience in sales is a definite asset. Other essential skills are a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media.

Join us if you are NOT looking for a job, but more – if you are willing to work hard in a small team and earn the rewards! Your compensation will be performance based (feel free to indicate your expectations in the cover letter).

If you are THE person, tell us about it, and submit your resume: anna@cfc.aero
