Executive Flight Centre (EFC) has been setting standards in aviation fuel and service for over forty years. Our Firebag Aerodrome location is seeking experienced Ramp Agents to support our diverse operations. These positions are temporary term rotational positions. Flights from Calgary or Edmonton and camp style accommodations are provided.
Main Functions: 
Ramp Agents support all ground handling operations, de-icing applications and possibly some fueling situations. Ramp Agents are accountable for all areas of aircraft ground handling and are required to operate in a safe and efficient manner and as directed by the Ramp Lead.

Responsibilities:
  • Adherence of corporate, departmental and OH&S policies and procedures
  • Load and unload aircraft, marshal and chock aircraft according to procedure
  • Strong comprehension of aircraft weight and balance
  • Connect and disconnect AC/DC power carts and heat carts according to procedure
  • Complete the RSM, be familiar with EFC corporate groundling and Westwind ground handling procedures
  • Aircraft fueling, movement, placement, storage and completion of “parking plan”
  • Ramp services, including operations, fueling and maintenance of various ground service equipment including snow blower, leaf blowers, weed whackers, brush saws and the Herman Nelson
  • Operation of RTV 900/1100, belt loader; gas/diesel, Harlan tugs, Eagle TT 12 (Tommy), Kubota mower/sweeper, skid steer, pressure washer, “Lil squirt” and tractor
  • Familiar with the Aerodrome layout (runway heading, taxiways, parking positions, etc)
  • Groom aircraft, including lavatory and potable water
  • Direct passengers on the apron as instructed by passenger service agents
  • Must complete the North Caribou disability awareness, safe movement of passengers, and vendor ramp handling courses
  • Accurately complete CLM’s
  • Must complete the solocks DG courses - Air Awareness and Passenger Handling Personnel
  • Assist in all field maintenance including snow clearing, snow shovelling and grass cutting
  • Function as Flight Lead and assist Passenger Service Agent as needed
  • Perform runway friction tests and runway inspections
  • Familiar with camp rules, policies, and times (i.e. kitchen hours, noise policies, front desk hours, check in/out procedures, etc.)
  • Maintain a tidy and orderly work area exhibiting pride in work performance and contributing to a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Ensure exceptional, courteous and respectful customer service through compliance and participation in the Company’s Step Up to Customer Service Program.
  • Comply with and participate in the Company’s Health & Safety and Quality programs and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Completion of a High School Diploma.Must be familiar with all aircraft types typically seen in FG6Valid class 5 driver’s license is required – No Graduated Driver’s License permittedAble to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingFirst Aid and CPR would be an assetAble to meet all required pre-employment screening including, but not limited to, OSSA, CSTS, and pre-access drug & alcohol testing.
  • Highly motivated and able to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Able to work in inclement weather conditions, overtime and extended shifts
  • Able to lift or move up to 60 lbs
  • Obtain a restricted operator’s certificate (radio license) within 60 days of employment
  • Successful completion of training and certification as required to meet EFC standards, including: IAAE, NATA, WHMIS, First Aid, CPR and AED, AVOP and Solocks’ Dangerous Goods Awareness
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry in a similar role would be an asset
  • Professional, punctual, meticulous and diligent
  • Able to work collaboratively as a productive member of the EFC Team
