The Ramp Lead Trainer is responsible for the development, oversight, and maintenance of the Ramp training program at Pacific Coastal Airlines. He/she plays a critical role with ensuring that all Ramp Agents are trained and adhere to all company SOPs, and Transport Canada regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop training material and establish training programs as per SOP's
- Schedule and perform recurrent training including new employee orientation
- Prepare examinations and progress reports for initial and recurrent training programs
- Maintain training files/records of all Ramp employees with compliance to SOP's
- Audit and evaluate Ramp operations for compliance
- Perform Quality Assurance
- Provide direction to Ramp Agent personnel with regards to training related matters
- Support workers who have questions or need additional assistance in understanding their job responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate performance of all Ramp employees
- Maintains current knowledge and understanding of the current Ramp and company policies and procedures
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all times

Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year Airport (Preferably Airside) experience
- Minimum of 1 year classroom instruction experience or OJT experience preferred
- Previous training experience preferred
- Forklift certified preferred
- Must have a valid class driver's license (class 4 preferred)
- Knowledge of: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access) and graphic programs
- Strong understanding of Ramp operations, SOP's, company Indoc and Department training
- Minimum 1 year Airport (Preferably Airside) experience
