WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will bring your enthusiasm and proven recruitment skills to attract top talent to YYC by taking ownership of full-cycle recruitment, playing a critical role in ensuring that YYC is hiring the most qualified and best fit candidate. Your in-depth knowledge and proven experience in sourcing, interviewing and providing an excellent candidate experience will contribute to your success as our Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, your key responsibilities will be to:
• Partner with business stakeholders to build successful recruiting campaigns, including effective sourcing, assessment, and interview strategies, preparing compelling job descriptions, and designing job-specific test scenarios.
• Proactively source talent through multiple channels including social networking, web based searches and networking to attract both active and passive candidates, and create a talent pipeline. Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management.
• Promote and embed The Calgary Airport Authority’s EVP throughout all facets of the recruitment life cycle. 
• Develop position-specific sourcing strategies to attract top talent for all levels.
• Play a key role in evaluating and enhancing our recruitment strategy, policies and practices.
• Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates with the ability to determine fit and skill.
• Coach hiring managers and interview teams throughout the process, ensuring collaborative decision-making throughout the process.

WHAT YOU BRING
• Post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree in Human Resources combined with 3 – 5 years’ experience in full- cycle recruitment.
• Possess or working towards a CHRP.
• Proven capability of executing talent acquisition strategies that are aligned with the organization’s core values and business strategy.
• Exceptional presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled at building credibility and effective relationships at all levels, and a strong collaborator.
• Proactive and takes ownership of responsibilities.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
• Solid understanding of various social media platforms and how to leverage these within a recruitment portfolio.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
