Securiguard is currently seeking customer service professionals to join the Abbotsford Airport Guest Service Representative Team!
Location: Abbotsford Airport
Job Duties
- Monitor groundside, curbside, parking lot activities for security breaches and provide excellent customer service to the traveling public;
- Remain in/patrol the parking lot and provide assistance to the traveling public from the time the PreBoard Screen (PBS) doors open until terminal is clear of passengers;
- Issue violation tickets to violators;
- Implement the Curbside Management Plan;
- At times when customer service is not being provided, collect unattended luggage carts from daily/weekly, hourly, rental parking lot and evenly distribute them to strategic locations for public access and use;
- Outside flight times sweep curbside/parking lots for litter (Securiguard to provide appropriate equipment);
- When there is a gap in between flights, sweep groundside, curbside, and parking lots for litter and cart collection and (lastly) conduct a perimeter patrol-litter pick up;
- When PBS doors are closed, complete all required paper work (e.g. daily parking log/FAQ tally sheets/weekly ticket summaries/incident reports/airport briefings/waiver forms/etc.);
- Carry out escort duties when requested by Airport General Manager, Manager of Airport Operations & Facilities or designates;
- In times of adverse weather (e.g. high winds, snow, etc.), primary focus is to continuously mitigate hazards that carry an increased risk to persons and/or property (e.g. unattended carts, ice patches);
- Monitor and report SNIC conditions/ apply chemicals as required;
- Perform other duties as required by the Airport General Manager, Manager of Airport Operations & Facilities or designates.
Requirements
- BC Security License is mandatory
