CHC Helicopter has an opportunity for a Customer Support Officer . Be Heli-One’s liaison for MRO customers. To ensure that all maintenance work ordered by customers are performed as contracted and invoiced as agreed after work completed. To work with assigned customers to deliver world class customer service and sales where appropriate.
The role is to support customers as assigned, within a specific country or countries, supporting the specific GTA or Ad-Hoc contracts as needed, fostering the customer relationship with a view to improving our involvement with the customer and increasing the work received. Following up on the collection status for open payments may form part of the routine assignments.
It will be important to advise the business on the appropriate way to resolve any customer issues and provide guidance to the internal management of a preferred course of action for resolution.
Responsibilities :
Ensure that the customers’ order is acknowledged internally and externally with an approved and agreed scope of work and delivery time, and that order work is compliant with the approved capability list.
Upon request forwarding quotations, focused on components, to the customer where the day to day customer relationship is the logical avenue for such an offer.
Ensure compliance with customer contracts.
Follow described internal procedures applicable to the role.
Invoice the customer after maintenance performance for man-hours and material used or fixed price (if agreed) in accordance with contract and routines.
Achieve and record all customer complaints in accordance with routines using the systems in place.
Report non-conformances to customers and internally as appropriate.
Ensure that business understands the customer priority is understood and delivery time is held.
Report to customer any delay in delivery.
Employees must comply with and adhere to all company policies
May perform other duties as assigned.
International travel may be required.
Qualifications & Experience :
3 years college and/or university degree, and/ or relevant work experience.
Technical Apprenticeship in Civil Aviation or a Military Equivalent
Service minded and able to perform under some pressure.
Confident.
Flexible.
Proactive and collaborative attitude, solution orientated.
Ability to communicate clearly.
Accurate, structured and independent working style.
Some experience in representing your company in a customer / supplier roles is of value.
General knowledge of ERP systems, and excellent Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc..)
Ability to balance and identify priorities in daily work
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team and manage time efficiently
Working Conditions
General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to10% of the time.
The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
Some International Travel is anticipated
