Assistant to the Chief Pilot (8 Month Term Position)

Missinippi Airways is a customer oriented, safety driven air carrier who offers a

wide range of services including executive charters as well as medevac and

scheduled service to the communities of Manitoba and beyond. Missinippi

Airways is proud to be the only 100% First Nations owned air service in Northern

Manitoba and one of the oldest First Nations air services in Canada.

Missinippi Airways is currently seeking an Assistant to the Chief Pilot. This is a

full time, 8 month term position based in The Pas, Manitoba.

Duties and responsibilities of the Assistant to the Chief PilotP include:

Ø File all corresponding documents into Pilot Training Records in a timely manner

Ø Audit each Pilot Training Record monthly and ensure they match Skyline

Ø Audit all Operational Flight Plans weekly and report any errors to the Chief Pilot

Ø Update all aircraft and base manuals

Ø Update all aircraft navigation charts (every 56 days) and GPS (every 28 days)

Ø Assign all aerostudies courses to pilots

Ø Audit all aerostudies courses to ensure comprehension

Ø Redesign and issue new aerostudies courses

Ø Update Skyline when receiving pilot documents

Ø Liaise with internal departments and external agencies which affect services as

required for safe and efficient flight operations

Ø Other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot

Minimum skills and qualifications are:

Ø Post Secondary Degree/Diploma in related field

Ø Excellent written and verbal communication

Ø Self motivated

Ø Able to manage deadlines effectively

Ø Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented

Ø Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize

Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel

Ø Ability to be independent and objective in performing the assigned tasks

Ø Attention to detail
