We offer a complete range of aircraft de-icing application services, spent aircraft de-icing fluid management and wastewater programs for large and small airports. We accomplish all of this by using a variety of technologies and efficient equipment systems.
As our company continues to change and grow we are seeking a qualified individual to contribute to our on-going success in the role of Controller of Traffic Movement (Pad Management). The position will be full-time seasonal located at the Calgary International Airport (YYC) and will report to the Site Operations Manager.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Use of radio to communicate with Air Canada Aircraft pilots, stock, marshaller’s and de-icing coordinators;
Use of radio to communicate with Inland Glycol Recovery Vehicle (GRV) drivers;
Submit daily Controller of Traffic Movement (CTM) report to Inland Technologies and Air Canada via email with required information such as discrepancies, number of flights sprayed and any general updates;
Adhere and comply to all safety policies and procedures with Inland, Air Canada and YYC;
Ensure that Inland’s policy of superior service and satisfaction and aircraft and personnel safety are met;
Compliance with all environmental laws and permits;
Give direction to aircraft operators (pilots) in a clear and concise manner;
Fast and efficient client service.
As the ideal candidate you possess the following qualifications:
Certificate of proficiency in radio – radio telephone operator’s restricted (Land only);
Valid Airside vehicle operator’s permit (AVOP);
Valid provincial driver’s license with acceptable driving record that meets company insurance standards;
Successful completion of the Inland Technologies Canada Inc. Controller of Traffic Movement training program;
Experience in the field of aircraft and/or operations;
Ability to safely operate a vehicle in inclement weather conditions;
Basic computer skills and the ability to use inland’s independent computer program “Ice link Aircraft ground de-icing management system”;
The ability to use an iPad and/or laptop and have working knowledge of all Microsoft programs;
Strong organizational skills;
The ability to read, write, speak and communicate effectively;
The ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing work environment.
Please note: The hourly compensation for this position is $18.50.
