SCOPE: Paladin Security is currently hiring customer service orientated individuals to direct traffic at YVR's pickup and drop off terminal for its Curbside Operations Division. In this customer service centric position, you may be one of the first or last people that travelers encounter when using YVR Vancouver International Airport. **Please note this position is outdoors, candidate must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. Candidates must have reliable transportation, as shifts could end at 2:00AM, 3:00AM or 6:00AM.** RESPONSIBILITIES: All vehicle operators who are waiting are approached with a greeting in a low-key manner and are asked to move along. If they refuse, curbside member will suggest for operator(s) to drive around until they see their party ready for pick up, use the parkade, or use the cell phone lot located in Jet Set Parking Lot. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to travel to Richmond. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Must possess a valid BC Driver’s License and access to a vehicle or reliable transportation outside of transit times. Flexibility to work at a variety of different shifts (afternoons/graveyards/weekends) Able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision. Professional and polished demeanor. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to assess and take initiative to meet / fulfill customer expectations.
