The Flight Operations Support Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing reports, handling scheduling templates and assisting the Flight Operations Team with operational duties. In addition, the successful candidate will support the Vice-President of Flight Operations with licensing and technical writing of manuals and procedures.

WORK HOURS: Monday to Friday; 8.5 hours/day
LOCATION: 4760 Inglis Drive, Richmond, BC
TERM: Full Time Regular
DEPARTMENT: Flight Operations

Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Provide administrative support to the Manager and VP of Flight Operations
  • Maintain data entry and upkeep of the organization’s databases, ensuring a high level of accuracy
  • Assist with scheduling templates, vacation planning and crew requirements
  • Assist with e-filing of EAPIS cross border flight plans and communicating effectively with CBSA/TSA
  • Assist with record keeping for pilot training and scheduling of training sessions
  • Proactively maintain the Enhanced Pilot Medical Program and scheduling of all related components
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of all Flight Operations related manuals/licensing
Qualifications/Assets:
  • Superior customer service skills – willing to take service to a higher level
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • IT savvy and able to leverage IT for driving innovation
  • Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative and good judgment
  • Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines
  • Ability to plan activities and programs
  • Working knowledge of CARs 703, 704 & 705 an asset
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office platform
