Quality Lead - Calgary (GardaWorld)
We are currently hiring a Quality Lead to be based out of Calgary International Airport (YYC). Job Description – Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Conducting active oversight of the Pre-Board Screening (PBS), Non Passenger Screening (NPS) and Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) operations
- Oversee and document compliance with CATSA’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GardaWorld’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Collect data to measure SOP compliance and performance
- Provide coaching, correction and overall feedback to Screening Officers and Checkpoint Managers
- Intervene immediately if parts of the screening process were not completed or if critical aspects of the screening process were performed incorrectly
- Assist with the development and tracking of Corrective Action Plans
- Assist with breach and unsuccessful infiltration test investigations
- Conduct or assist with audits, as requested (CATSA, CGSB, and/or Internal Audits)

Job Requirements:
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident as defined in the Immigration Act with an employment authorization document
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- No previous criminal background for which a pardon has not been granted
- Willing and able to work outside regular working hours and able to work shifts
- Post-Secondary education in related field or combination of education and work experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field
- Bilingual (English, French) would be an asset
- Certification as a Screening Officer would be an asset
- Oversight and/or auditing experience is an asset
- A training background is an asset

- High level of comfort dealing with a variety of customer interactions/escalations
- Highly organized and results driven individual who is able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work within a structured, highly regulated environment
