Airport Maintenance Technician

The Fort McMurray Airport is looking for Airport Maintenance
Technicians (AMT). Working as part of a
team, AMT's ensure airport operation can continue in a safe, secure, efficient,
and effective manner.
AMT's are responsible for a wide variety of airfield, structures and
grounds maintenance duties that are generally labour intensive and provide
support services to various internal and external clients.
This temporary position, working from November 1 until March 31 will
primary perform winter maintenance on roadway, parking lots and airside
surfaces.
REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Possess a Class 3 with airbrake endorsement
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Transport Canada
Security Clearance (Restricted Area Identification Card)
Must provide criminal check report
Must provide current Driver's abstract
Ability to obtain and maintain Airport Vehicle Operators Permit
Ability to obtain a Restricted Aeronautical Radio Operators License
Heavy truck and equipment operation experience
Fort McMurray Airport also provides shared furnished accommodation for
$700/month with internet, tv and laundry
