WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an Administrative Assistant, Risk and Compliance at the Calgary Airport Authority, you will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team that is responsible for the overall safety, security and compliance of our international airport. Reporting to the Director, Compliance & Safety, you will play an integral role in providing administrative support for the Safety and Security teams. Additional support may be provided to the Environment department as required. Your primary responsibilities will be:
•Miscellaneous administrative duties, such as: meeting organization, creating presentations, department filing, expense reports, photocopying, event planning, and budget tracking.
•General office administration including supply purchasing, travel coordination and VISA reconciliation.
•Coordinate departmental training, maintain training records and develop communications plans.
•Participate in departmental committee meetings and assist with any program requirements.
•Create and update user manuals, maps and documents for training programs.
•Maintain departmental programs and resources including emergency response rooms and first aid stations.
•Assist with annual Workplace Safety COR Audit as well as other safety/security reporting.


WHAT YOU BRING
•Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Proven time management skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
•Proactive problem solver with the desire and ability to achieve results and meet deadlines all while building and maintaining good working relationships.
•Desire for continuous learning and process improvement.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work well in both a team and individual environment where priorities can change at a moment’s notice.

WHAT ELSE
•Experience in workplace safety, compliance, security, auditing or analytics.
•Post-secondary education.
•General knowledge of an airport environment and/or previous work at an airport.
•Familiarity with In-Design or other desktop publishing program.
•Experience managing databases and document or record keeping software.
