The Operations Assistant reports to the Director of Operations (West) and must be available to work on a day schedule, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:
•Book travel, cars and accommodations for employees as required;
•Management of crew apartments in Edmonton;
•Maintain adequate supply of maps and publications for Western region;
•Issue and maintenance of company fuel cards;
•Processes data (AS400; operations systems);
•Review of crew position reports & expense claims;
•New hire orientation & administration;
•Administration of Drug & Alcohol testing for various contracts;
•Part-time assistance in reception; Prepares crew scheduling for final approval by Director of Operations when required;
•Manages crew support website updates for employees and aircraft when required;
•Performs various office administration duties as directed by the Director of Operations.

Qualifications:
•High School Education;
•Experience in an operations or dispatch role an asset;
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel);
•Good organizational skills required;
•Excellent oral and written communication skills;
•Positive attitude;
•Ability to work within a group environment;
•Working knowledge with the AS400 an asset;
•Must be available to work overtime hours from time to time.
