SunWing Travel is currently recruiting a temporary Crew Time and Attendance Administrator for the Payroll Department, in the Toronto office.  l

Responsibilities
• Calculate crew time and attendance each pay period including: regular and overtime pay, per diems, paid time off and unpaid time off.
• Prepare and provide the crew time and attendance data in Excel for payroll upload and processing every two weeks.
• Prepare ROE data for payroll.
• Manage sick bank calculations and accruals.
• Calculate the yearly vacation allotment of the crew.
• Respond to and investigate crew pay issues in cooperation with the payroll administrator and/or HR Department in a timely fashion.
• Tracking and managing the yearly augmentations (upgrades/downgrades) for all crewmembers.
• Ensuring continual improvement through the periodic review of documented processes.
• Maintaining the accuracy of crew time and attendance related computer software (AIMS) and payroll data.
• Assist with automation efforts.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications• Minimum 3-5 years experience with inter-provincial payroll administration and manual payroll systems.
• Thorough understanding of hourly, front line employee compensation including per diem calculation, allowances and exceptions required.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills including an ability to be successful in a high-volume, manual payroll environment.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Previous experience with Airline collective agreements (or similar) and/or Airline Crew payroll an asset.

START DATE: June 11, 2012 (14 month contract)
REPORTING TO: Manager, Group Payroll
