BCAC Scholarships

The British Columbia Aviation Council (BCAC), established in 1938, is a member-driven organization that represents and promotes the shared interests of the aviation community.  In addition to functions ranging from encouraging a safe and secure industry and communicating industry concerns, the organization also provides support to the education and training of human resources to meet the skill requirements of aviation and aerospace.

BCAC members recognize the financial pressures faced by students pursuing studies in aviation and aerospace, and the BCAC bursary fund provides scholarships and awards for students on an annual basis.
Students actively pursuing studies in the Airline and Flight Operations (Commercial Pilot) program or in the Airport Operations program may apply for a number of cash awards ranging from $1,000 to $3,000.

Applications are now being requested and BCAC must receive the completed applications no later than August 31, 2012.
The BCAC Awards committee will review applications and make recommendations for approval by the BCAC Board. Awards will be presented at the Annual Silver Wings Awards Banquet on October 25, 2012.  For further information regarding these special scholarships and awards, please click here.
