Job Description:

Coordinate with flight operations dispatch and sales/marketing on all private flights (POC), commercial charter flights (704 AOC).

Manage the daily scheduling of aircraft for sales demonstrations, airborne product support, corporate transportation, service center arrangements, flight accommodations, and charter operations. Coordinate and schedule flight crews and all requests for pilot assistance within established Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Company policies and procedures. Provide cost effective evaluations for the use of all private and charter flight operations. Communicate with maintenance (PRM/DOM) to ensure aircraft maintenance requirements are met.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Establish Flight Following Department.
•Manage all staff reporting to the position so as to effectively recruit, train, evaluate, and monitor their activities and progress.
•Direct and coordinate the activities of mission planning, crew scheduling, and flight following while ensuring compliance with all applicable Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and corporate directives.
•Develop and implement policies and procedures for cost saving, training, communication, information sharing, and emergency planning.
•Establish, review and update manpower, facility, equipment, and budget requirements for Flight Operations Coordination.
•Coordinate with staff on methods and techniques for reducing costs and improving the efficiency of operational procedures.
•Provide information on airports, cost estimates, routing, flight times, and international permit and visa requirements as needed in the planning and development stages of sales demonstrations and regional events, and charters.
•Provide cost effective evaluations for the use of all Charter operations. Establish contracted relationships with operational service providers.
•Review and approve all third party invoices and consultant expenses related to flight operations.
•Compile and submit reports and conduct special studies as required by senior management.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
•Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma (Aviation Management), or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least five years experience in flight operations to include two years supervisory experience.
•Extensive knowledge of aircraft/airfield terminology, aircraft systems operations/functions and aircraft logistics support requirements.
•Strong organizational skills - detail oriented, ability to prioritize, proactive.
•Ability to work under pressure, with minimum supervision.
